Vegan Hot Cocoa

Here’s a delicious, milk-free, low fat, processed-sugar-free, hot cocoa recipe that still manages to hit all the right chocolate-y notes. Yay!

Vegan Hot Cocoa
1 serving

1 cup vanilla-flavored almond milk
2 teaspoons organic unsweetened cocoa powder (I use Rapunzel Pure Organic Cocoa Powder)
1 teaspoon (or more) pure maple syrup

Heat almond milk. Add cocoa powder and maple syrup to the almond milk and whisk vigorously. Taste for sweetness and add more maple syrup, if desired. Enjoy!
(Especially good with a warm slice of banana bread…just sayin’)
