Berry Sauce

It’s the weekend and that means…waffles!! My crispy protein waffles are a dream, but we like something liquid on top. Enter this creamy berry breakfast sauce: wonderful on waffles and pancakes, but also wonderful over desserts, perhaps some whole-fat Greek yogurt, or even over low-carb ice cream.

Berry Sauce
Yield: 2 servings // 32 calories, 3 net carbs

1 cup raspberries or blackberries
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup Swerve Confectioner’s sweetener

Combine berries and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes, until berries are soft enough to mash. Stir in the Swerve Sweetener. Let cool a bit and serve.
