Hot Fudge Sauce (low carb)

Fudge sauce is great over low-carb pound cakes, cheesecakes, ice creams, and custards.

Hot Fudge Sauce
8 servings (abt. 1.5 oz. each) // 154 calories, 1.23 net carbs

1 cup organic heavy cream
1/3 cup powdered Swerve Sweetener
Pinch of espresso powder
2-1/2 ounces Scharffen Berger unsweetened 99% cacao baking chocolate, shaved
1/2 teaspoon Nielson-Massey Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together heavy cream, sweetener, and espresso powder until combined. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat.
Add chopped chocolate and let sit 5 minutes, until chocolate is completely melted. Add vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
