Western Blue Ring Bacon Burger (keto)

A Napa Valley tradition since the 1940s, Taylor’s Refresher was my local fast food joint, with a twist—the food was incredible! In 2011, the Taylor family sold the roadside attraction to two brothers and the name was changed to Gott’s Roadside, but the menu still rocks. Here’s  my favorite burger…

Taylor’s Refresher Western Blue Ring Bacon Burger
Serves 2 // 723 calories, 53g fat, 56g protein, 4g net carbs

1 pound pasture raised ground beef
6 ounces blue cheese
2 keto onion rings *
4 slices bacon, cooked
1 tablespoon low carb bbq sauce (I use Stubbs)
4  dill pickle slices, chip-style

Cook the burgers on the grill or in a pan. Top with a puddle of bbq sauce, blue cheese, bacon, and an onion ring. Add a bun if you’re not eating low car, or add a side salad … and enjoy!
